Gasoline and oil prices increase

DNO - On the afternoon of April 11, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance adjusted the retail prices of gasoline and oil products. Except for RON92 gasoline and fuel oil, other products recorded price increases of 20-622 VND/liter.

Diesel prices increased by more than 600 VND/liter on the afternoon of April 11.

Accordingly, the price of RON92 gasoline decreased by 68 VND/liter, down to 23,848 VND/liter and was 973 VND/liter lower than RON95 III gasoline; RON95 III gasoline increased by 20 VND/liter, up to 24,821 VND/liter.

Similarly, diesel increased by 622 VND/liter, to 21,610 VND/liter; kerosene increased by 579 VND/liter, to 21,594 VND/liter. Fuel oil alone decreased by 288 VND/kg to 17,008 VND/kg.

Thus, from the beginning of 2024 until now, after adjustments, gasoline prices have increased 10 times and decreased 8 times.

In this management period, the joint ministries decided not to set aside the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for RON92 gasoline, RON95 gasoline, diesel oil, kerosene, and fuel oil. At the same time, the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund will not be used for RON92 gasoline, RON95 gasoline, diesel oil, kerosene, and fuel oil.
