Applying technology to serve the Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress

Ho Chi Minh City promotes the application of information technology in preparing for the 1st Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, towards the principle of 'convenience, practicality, no waste'.

On September 6, Mr. Tran Luu Quang, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, worked with the Organizing Subcommittee to serve the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, and surveyed the location to consider choosing a place to hold the congress.

Also attending the survey were Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Dang Minh Thong and leaders of departments, branches and sectors.

At the meeting, Chief of the Office of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Pham Hong Son reported on the implementation of preparations and organization for the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030. Leaders of Ho Chi Minh City departments, branches and sectors reported on the progress of preparations.

In particular, the leaders of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee reported on the progress and results of information and propaganda work before, during and after the congress. The leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City High Command and the Ho Chi Minh City Police also reported on the work of ensuring security and order before, during and after the congress.

Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Dang Minh Thong requested agencies and units, especially the congress organizing subcommittee, to urgently review the progress of preparations and organization for the congress; clearly assign people, tasks, progress, authority, responsibility and results.

Concluding the meeting, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Tran Luu Quang agreed with the comments and suggestions of the congress organization subcommittee. The Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee requested relevant agencies and units to coordinate well in preparing and organizing the congress.

Secretary Tran Luu Quang also noted a number of important contents related to information and propaganda work, logistics work, preparation of facilities, techniques and equipment for the congress, ensuring security and order...

In particular, the Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City noted that it is necessary to apply information technology to the maximum extent in the congress according to the principle of "convenience, practicality, and no waste".
