The exhibition “80 years of the journey of Independence-Freedom-Happiness” ends at 4:00 p.m. on September 15.

According to information from the organizing committee, at 4:00 p.m. on September 15, the exhibition of national achievements "80 years of the journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi) stopped opening to welcome visitors to prepare for the closing ceremony taking place at 8:00 p.m. the same day.

The exhibition of national achievements will stop receiving visitors from 4:00 p.m. on September 15.

Opening on August 28, after nearly 20 days, the event has become a special cultural-historical meeting place, attracting nearly 8.6 million visitors. With the largest scale ever, rich content, creative expression, the exhibition has left its mark with record numbers, warmly welcomed by the people, leaving a deep impression on international friends.

It is expected that when it ends, the exhibition will reach a record number of 10 million visitors after 19 days of opening.

To ensure the exhibition dismantling is carried out safely and scientifically , the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism requests that agencies and units coordinate to implement:

Vietnam Television, Voice of Vietnam and relevant agencies and units continue to inform and propagate about the end of service for people to visit from 4:00 p.m. on September 15.

Exhibiting units proactively coordinate with the Management Board of the Vietnam Exhibition Center to deploy dismantling plans, ensure safety, order, fire prevention, and avoid the situation of too many people and vehicles gathering at the same time.

Vietnam Exhibition Fair Center Joint Stock Company arranges a focal point to coordinate and support dismantling units, ensuring progress, efficiency and safety.

On September 15, at the east yard (Ho Chi Minh City space) and the west yard (3-region culinary train), the Organizing Committee coordinated with Saigon Tourist Group to serve more than 10,000 free meals and drinks with strong Southern flavors. Typical dishes such as Saigon bread, broken rice, vermicelli with spring rolls, mantis shrimp noodle soup, along with various types of sweet soups and iced milk coffee... were introduced to a large number of people and tourists.

This activity not only contributes to creating more unique features for the exhibition space but also shows the gratitude of the unit accompanying the event.

The closing ceremony of the exhibition of national achievements “80 years of the journey of Independence-Freedom-Happiness” took place at 8:00 p.m. on September 15 at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi). The program was broadcast live on VTV1 and broadcast live on VOV1.

Within the framework of the closing ceremony, the organizing committee will summarize and award certificates of merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in organizing and implementing the exhibition; it is expected to award 35 "Outstanding Exhibition Space" prizes to participating units.

The special art program "I love my Fatherland" and a brilliant high-altitude fireworks display will close and celebrate the success of the exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025)...
