As one of the pioneering localities, Thai Nguyen province has created positive impacts in administrative reform, improving the quality of public services.
Notably, on August 11, 2025, the province rose to the No. 1 position with a total of 83.83 points, achieving high levels in most of the component criteria: Publicity and transparency (15.67 points); Resolution progress (19.45 points); Online services (13.98 points); Satisfaction level (17.86 points); Digitalization of records (16.87 points).
This is an outstanding result in the context that the whole country is promoting the implementation of the Government 's Project 06 and national digital transformation programs. The above figures reflect the synchronous efforts of the entire system, from institutional building to actual implementation.
Regarding the criteria of publicity and transparency, Thai Nguyen adheres to the principle that all administrative procedures must be public, easy to find, and easy to look up. All procedures are posted at agencies and units and regularly updated on the Public Service Portal and electronic information pages of departments, branches, and localities. This approach helps people and businesses access information quickly, limits ambiguity and overlap, and at the same time strengthens transparency and social trust.
The progress criterion reached 19.45 points (almost perfect), showing the province's determination in shortening the time to process documents. With multi-level and multi-sector interconnected procedures, the progress monitoring system is operated effectively, promptly reminding and correcting delayed cases. Many procedures are shortened in time compared to regulations; some documents are even processed and returned within the day, contributing to improving satisfaction and strengthening the trust of people and businesses.
In the online service criterion, Thai Nguyen scored 13.98 points thanks to the high rate of online public service provision. The province not only digitized the process but also strengthened guidance and support for people to use online services. Models such as "Community Digital Technology Team" and "Volunteer Saturday to support administrative procedure settlement" have helped public services reach people in remote areas more closely, contributing to narrowing the digital gap.
People's satisfaction level reached 17.86 points, clearly reflecting the province's efforts in improving service quality.
In the document digitization criterion, Thai Nguyen scored 16.87 points thanks to data synchronization, business software connection and digital signature application. Electronic documents are centrally managed, helping to reduce paperwork, saving time and costs for both management agencies and people. Data connection between departments and branches shortens the time to process procedures, while ensuring accuracy and information security.
After just over a month of implementing the two-tier local government model, the province has received 72,284 administrative procedure files, including 38,681 online files and 5,165 online payment files. The rate of correct and early settlement reached 99.87%, clearly reflecting the drastic participation of the entire political system with the motto of taking people's satisfaction as a measure.
With an established foundation and determination to constantly innovate, Thai Nguyen is gradually affirming its pioneering position in administrative reform and serving people and businesses, contributing to building a democratic, transparent, and modern administration, towards sustainable development and prosperity of the locality.
