(Dan Tri) - According to Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Duc Trung, Principal of Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City, AI cannot replace humans and will accompany them as friends.

At the workshop “Implementing ESG with AI, what should businesses do?” co-organized by Dan Tri newspaper and the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology on the afternoon of August 14, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Duc Trung, President of Ho Chi Minh City Banking University, presented an in-depth discussion on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in corporate governance (the letter G in ESG).

Sharing his practical experience at his unit, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Duc Trung said: "At Banking University, each staff member is supported by an AI. All processes are performed by robots, eliminating the need for an internal control department.

AI technology is applied in human resource management, from recruiting the right person to training the right job. The AI system automatically searches for candidates that meet the set criteria, school staff only need to conduct interviews.

In addition, Banking University also uses AI to analyze and evaluate personal capacity profiles, optimizing human resource management processes.

In the field of procurement and distribution management, AI plays an important role in calculating inventory, optimizing transportation and coordinating traffic to ensure goods are delivered on time.

In marketing, AI helps analyze customer behavior and preferences, thereby creating personalized experiences and supporting automated responses. In risk management, AI analyzes historical data, simulates scenarios and identifies potential risks.

In particular, AI is also applied in personalization development through the creation of "digital clones" - digital models that reflect the state, behavior and performance of objects, systems or processes in the real world .

These models are continuously updated from sensor data or real-time information sources, helping to optimize performance and significantly reduce costs.

Regarding the question of whether AI can replace humans, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Duc Trung commented: "There are two debates on this issue. With one hundred billion human neurons, it will take at least 120 years to create robots that can surpass humans. AI is a tool created by humans and humans will dominate technology."

Mr. Trung affirmed: "I believe that AI cannot replace humans but will accompany them as friends. AI achieves the dual goals of digital transformation and green transformation. AI effectively supports, builds ESG reports and points out shortcomings in businesses."
