“Grateful for the birth” is a meaningful activity every Vu Lan occasion for each person, especially the young, to continue to preserve and promote the thousand-year-old traditional cultural values ​​of the nation.

This year's special Vu Lan art program with the theme "Parents' Grace" promises to bring many emotions with performances of singing, dancing, poetry, drama, and Xam singing...

On September 11, Economic & Urban Newspaper, Vietnamese Women Newspaper and Oscar Media Company held a press conference to introduce the program.

In his opening speech, Associate Professor-PhD Nguyen Thanh Loi, Editor-in-Chief of Kinh te & Do thi Newspaper, Head of the Organizing Committee, said that this is an opportunity to pay tribute to those who have contributed, to express deep gratitude to the Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, and martyrs - those who sacrificed their blood and bones for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland. The program also contributes to educating the younger generation, sowing the seeds of filial piety, patriotism, and civic awareness among the youth.

Through each season, the program has attracted more and more viewers, becoming the "nucleus" spreading "waves" of kindness and beautiful thoughts and actions in life.

Meanwhile, General Director Mai Thanh Tung said that the success of previous programs is the motivation for the crew to strive and be more creative in order to bring the audience an emotional program with humanistic values.

“I believe that what we convey through art will be fully conveyed to the audience, touching every heart so that each person continues to write songs about humanity and promote the precious traditions of the nation,” said General Director Mai Thanh Tung.

Participating in the program, People's Artist Le Chuc affirmed that "The Grace of Birth" is the crystallization of emotions, of deep gratitude for mothers, generations who have silently sacrificed for the Fatherland. This is not only a performance stage, but also a place where gratitude is expressed through art, sincere and touching.

"With my voice, experience and passion as an artist, and as the program's artistic advisor, I hope to be able to contribute more 'echoes of gratitude' through each lyric and each profound artistic performance that the program conveys," People's Artist Le Chuc expressed.

The program uses unique performing arts forms combining a variety of music , dance, poetry, drama, etc. with modern stage techniques to convey meaningful messages during the Vu Lan season of filial piety.

Through artistic language, the program depicts sacred and familiar images of paternal love, maternal love, the silent sacrifice of parents and emotional moments in the journey of growing up of each person. This is also an opportunity for the audience to relive dear memories, to appreciate more the warmth of family and ancestors who have devoted themselves to the peace, independence and freedom of the country.

The program “Grateful for Parents in 2025” is expected to last 120 minutes and includes: Xam “Cong cha ngai me sinh thanh” performed by artist Mai Tuyet Hoa, Tre Dance Group, Sao Tuoi Tho Club; the song “Dat nuoc loi ru” performed by singer Ngoc Lien; a report on a series of meaningful activities on the sidelines of the program and art performances with the participation of many singers: My Linh, Phuong Thanh, Bang Kieu, Minh Quan, Kyo York, Ngoc Ky, Viet Danh, Minh Duc, Thanh Tai, Ngoc Khanh Chi…

In particular, this year's program will feature the play "Mother's Tears" performed by the Vietnam Drama Theater.

The program will take place at 8:10 p.m. on September 18 at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Cultural Palace in Hanoi, broadcast live on H1 channel (Hanoi Radio and Television) and rebroadcast live on newspapers and radio stations in provinces and cities nationwide./.
