Driving license exam fees for all classes from August 1, 2023
Pursuant to Section 3 of the Appendix issued with Circular 37/2023/TT-BTC, the driving license exam fees for all classes from August 1, 2023 are specifically as follows:
(1) For driving license exams for classes A1, A2, A3, A4:
- Theory test: 60,000 VND/time.
- Practical test: 70,000 VND/time.
(2) For car driving license test (class B1, B2, C, D, E, F):
- Theory test: 100,000 VND/time.
- Practical test in the picture: 350,000 VND/time.
- Practical test on the road: 80,000 VND/time.
- Car driving test using software simulating traffic situations: 100,000 VND/time.
Note:
+ The above mentioned driving license test fee is applied uniformly throughout the country (regardless of whether it is managed by a central agency or a local agency).
+ Candidates taking the test to obtain a road motor vehicle driving license must pay the driving license test fee for that part (calculated by test time: first test, re-test).
Registration and license plate fees for specialized motorbikes (construction vehicles) from August 1, 2023
Pursuant to Section 1 of the Appendix issued with Circular 37/2023/TT-BTC, the registration and license plate issuance fees for specialized motorbikes (construction vehicles) from August 1, 2023 are specifically as follows:
- First-time issuance, temporary issuance, re-issuance, and exchange of registration certificate with license plate: VND 200,000/time/vehicle.
- Re-issuance and exchange of registration certificate without license plate: VND 50,000/time/vehicle.
- Issuing registration certificate with temporary license plate: 70,000 VND/time/vehicle.
- Re-stamping chassis and engine numbers: VND 50,000/time/vehicle.
Driver's license fee from August 1, 2023
Pursuant to Section 2 of the Appendix issued with Circular 37/2023/TT-BTC, the fees for granting licenses and certificates to operate on all types of vehicles from August 1, 2023 are specifically as follows:
- New issuance, re-issuance, exchange of driving license (national and international): 135,000 VND/time
Regulations on declaration, collection and payment of the above fees and charges
The declaration, collection and payment of the above fees and charges shall be carried out in accordance with the instructions in Article 4 of Circular 37/2023/TT-BTC, specifically as follows:
- Fee and charge payers shall pay fees and charges according to the collection rates prescribed in Article 3 of Circular 37/2023/TT-BTC to fee and charge collection organizations in the form prescribed in Circular 74/2022/TT-BTC.
- Periodically, no later than the 5th day of each week, the fee collection organization must deposit the fee amount collected in the previous week into the fee account awaiting payment to the budget of the fee collection organization opened at the State Treasury. The fee and charge collection organization shall declare, pay the collected fees and charges to the state budget, and settle the fees according to the provisions of Circular 74/2022/TT-BTC.
- Fee and charge collection organizations shall pay the collected fee amount according to the rate prescribed in Article 5 of Circular 37/2023/TT-BTC and 100% of the collected fee amount to the state budget (fee and charge collection organizations under the management of the Central Government shall pay fees and charges to the central budget; fee and charge collection organizations under the management of the locality shall pay fees and charges to the local budget) according to the chapters and sub-items of the State Budget Table of Contents.
