On June 13, Mr. Nguyen Hung Nam, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee inspected the progress of the investment project to build Ring Road 4 - Hanoi Capital Region, the section passing through the province in the districts of Van Giang and Van Lam.

According to reports from units and localities, up to now, localities have basically completed the site clearance (GPMB) of agricultural land, public land, and enterprise land, and are organizing the implementation of GPMB for residential land. The area cleared is 209.7 hectares, reaching 92.9% of the total area to be recovered. Of which, Van Lam district: 59.53/67.9 hectares, reaching 87.67%; Van Giang district: 105.57/113.3 hectares, reaching 93.2%; Yen My district: 41.67/41.7 hectares, reaching 99.9%; Khoai Chau district: completed site clearance of 100% of the area to be recovered. Speaking at the inspection, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hung Nam requested the districts of Van Giang and Van Lam to mobilize resources and urgently complete the site clearance of residential and business land. In particular, the approval of the site clearance compensation plan must be completed before June 20; the compensation plan and resettlement arrangements for households must be promptly publicized. Localities must focus on disseminating and mobilizing people to understand the purpose, meaning and benefits of the projects, creating high consensus in the handover of the site, creating favorable conditions for the construction unit; and being flexible in mobilizing capital to pay and support money for households with residential land within the site clearance area.
