Lam Dong speeds up key transport projects

On September 10, at the regular press conference of Lam Dong province, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Deputy Director of Lam Dong Department of Construction, said that the department is currently presiding over and coordinating with relevant agencies and units to periodically organize weekly inspections and urge the progress of implementing key traffic projects in the area.

Regarding compensation and site clearance, according to the representative of the Department of Construction, this agency promptly reported and advised the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee on the transfer of investors of compensation and site clearance sub-projects of projects (from Project Management Boards and District People's Committees (formerly) to the Lam Dong Provincial Land Fund Development Center).

By the end of August 2025, Lam Dong had disbursed more than VND6,300 billion in public investment capital, reaching 33.7% of the plan. In addition to objective reasons, there are still many subjective reasons leading to slow capital disbursement progress, in which large-scale projects focus on the transport sector.

Currently, Lam Dong province is implementing a series of key transport projects such as: Gia Nghia (Lam Dong) - Chon Thanh ( Dong Nai ) expressway construction investment project; Tan Phu (Dong Nai) - Bao Loc (Lam Dong) expressway project; Bao Loc - Lien Khuong expressway project; renovating and upgrading National Highway 28B; site clearance and investment in construction of resettlement areas under the high-speed railway project on the North - South axis through Lam Dong province...

The project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 28B is behind schedule compared to the original plan.

However, many projects are behind schedule, even after the district-level People's Committee no longer exists, the Gia Nghia - Chon Thanh expressway project does not have a direct investor; or some projects have not completed the local land price list, so even though construction has been started for a long time, the site has not been cleared.
