Controlling the scrap warehouse fire at night in Quang Ngai

On the morning of September 15, Quang Ngai Provincial Police said that the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force and related units promptly extinguished the fire at the scrap warehouse in Dak Cam ward, preventing the fire from spreading to neighboring areas.

Initial information, at 6:52 p.m. on September 14, Fire Fighting Team of Area 4 under the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Quang Ngai Province received a report of a fire at a scrap warehouse, the owner of the house is Mr. Dang Tri H (born in 1972), his wife is Ms. Dang Quynh Vi N (born in 1983, residing in Group 1, Dak Cam Ward), so they urgently dispatched 2 fire trucks to the scene to perform their duties.

Because the scrap warehouse contained many flammable items, the fire quickly flared up, creating a column of black smoke dozens of meters high. Realizing that the fire was developing rapidly, the fire commander mobilized 2 more fire trucks, 1 vehicle transport vehicle, and mobilized all officers on leave to go to the scene to participate in extinguishing the fire.

Dak Cam Ward Police also mobilized officers, soldiers and forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level to the scene to ensure security and order, support people in transporting necessary items and supplies, and coordinate with the Fire Police and Rescue forces to deploy fire fighting plans.

By 10 p.m. the same day, the fire was basically under control, preventing it from spreading to the surrounding area. The fire did not cause any human casualties, but burned down many assets in the scrap warehouse.

The cause of the fire and specific damage statistics are being further verified and clarified by authorities.
