On September 9, the 60th Membership Meeting of the Asia- Pacific Network Information Center (APNIC 60) took place at the Furama Convention Center in Da Nang. The program took place from September 4 to 11, 2025, gathering more than 500 international delegates.
The APNIC Member Conference is held twice a year. It is the region's highest-level conference on IP/ASN management policy development and a forum for connecting the Internet community, where experts meet and share experiences on policy and technology in the field of Internet resources in the Asia- Pacific region.
This year, APNIC 60 was hosted by Vietnam in Da Nang city, focusing on proposing, discussing, voting and building Internet resource policies (IP, ASN) in the region. The conference also held regular meetings of specialized discussion groups (SIGs) and discussed the participation and role of regional IP management organizations in international issues.

In particular, the conference also discussed in depth the development orientation and ensuring global Internet security, including issues such as quantum Internet, promoting efficient use of Internet resources, deploying IPv6, applying AI, managing, monitoring and operating to ensure secure routing and Internet connections.
The conference also covers research, development and application of Internet technology, along with training programs on administration, network security and Internet routing for organizations and individuals in need.
Within the framework of APNIC 60, the organizing committee also opened the Asia-Pacific Internet Exchange Operators and Managers Conference (APIX 32). This is the region's highest-level event on Internet connectivity via Internet exchange (IX).

Asia-Pacific Network Information Center (APNIC) was established in 1993, is the regional Internet resource management organization (IP and ASN) and plays a key role in building global Internet policy and infrastructure.
Hosting APNIC 60 in Da Nang marks the international Internet community's trust in Vietnam, affirming the effectiveness of implementing the Politburo's strategic directions, demonstrating the region's leading role in policy making, developing new-generation Internet infrastructure, promoting technical cooperation, sharing experiences and connecting the global Internet community.
In 2003, Vietnam Internet Center (VNNIC) was recognized by Asia-Pacific Network Information Center (APNIC) as a national Internet resource management organization (National Internet Registry - NIR), implementing the allocation and distribution of IP addresses and ASNs in Vietnam./.
