On the morning of September 5, along with students across the country, teachers and students in many mountainous schools in Da Nang City and Quang Ngai Province entered the 2025-2026 school year in a simple but warm atmosphere, full of faith and hope.
At Tak Po school (Tra Tap commune, Da Nang city) - the place that "stormed" social networks in 2019 with its simple opening ceremony - the scene this morning once again touched people's hearts.

From early morning, students were dressed neatly, eagerly holding the bright red national flag, waiting for the opening ceremony when the clouds were still hanging over the mountainside. This year, the school has 2 classes: a kindergarten class with 22 children and a primary class with 16 children.

At exactly 7:30, the opening ceremony began. Amidst the applause of parents, teacher Tra Thi Thu held the hands of 11 first graders and led them into their new classroom.
In her opening speech, Ms. Thu emotionally shared: “The educational journey at the remote school is a journey of perseverance. Each clean notebook, each round handwriting, each smile at school is a small but meaningful victory.”
The atmosphere of the opening ceremony was also bustling in Tra Tan commune (Da Nang city), where 1,490 students of all levels entered the new school year. The locality has 6 schools with 19 campuses, basically meeting the teaching and learning needs. However, Tran Cao Van Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities still lacks classrooms; many schools do not have libraries, playgrounds, and makeshift boarding kitchens.

To prepare for the new school year, the locality has temporarily repaired damaged items, arranged classrooms, and planned to request funding to rebuild degraded items.
In Nam Tra My commune (Da Nang), Nam Tra My Secondary and High School for Ethnic Minorities held an opening ceremony with the participation of provincial and local leaders, parents, teachers and nearly 330 students. This school year, the school has 10 classes with 329 students, more than 95% of whom are ethnic minority children.

In Quang Ngai province, Kim Dong Primary School (Tu Mo Rong commune) opened in a simple but solemn atmosphere with 707 students, most of whom are children of ethnic minorities.
Because many children live far away and are not eligible for boarding, they often miss afternoon classes. To overcome this, for about 5 years now, the school has maintained free lunches and provided care for orphans and students in especially difficult circumstances. This year, the school plans to cook for 74 students at Kon Pia school and take care of 30 orphans.
Principal Ho Thi Thuy Van said that the main maintenance costs come from teachers' contributions, fundraising for care and support from benefactors.

The joy of the opening ceremony this year is even more complete at Minh Long Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities (Quang Ngai province), where 200 students, mostly children of the Hre ethnic group, are all boarding in a spacious 2-storey dormitory worth more than 7 billion VND that was just inaugurated.
