General Secretary To Lam emphasized the importance of mastering and moving towards self-reliance in core data technologies, including focusing on developing data products of national stature. This is not only an urgent requirement in the process of international integration, but also a prerequisite to affirm Vietnam's digital sovereignty and technological position on the world map.
In that context, the National Data Association has become a bridge between the public and private sectors in creating the technological and institutional foundation for the data economy .
As the first social organization in Vietnam specializing in the field of data, the Association has proactively implemented many specific action plans, closely following the direction of the Party and Government , and at the same time proposed breakthrough initiatives, aiming to build a safe, transparent and sustainable digital ecosystem.
One of the Association's key directions is to develop two core technology pillars: National Blockchain Platform and National Decentralized Identification System.
These are not just two technical components, but also symbols of strategic thinking about security, transparency and data sovereignty in the future.
Blockchain is considered the “backbone” of modern data infrastructure. More than just a distributed ledger technology, blockchain plays a role in ensuring the integrity, transparency and immutability of data.
The NDA Chain platform is an international standard blockchain with the ability to deeply integrate into public service systems, e-commerce and other key areas.
Different from existing commercial blockchain platforms, NDA Chain is designed to ensure strict compliance with Vietnam's current legal and technical standards, while possessing the ability to seamlessly integrate with e-government systems, banks and business organizations.
This is a strategic step, helping Vietnam own an independent technology infrastructure, gradually forming a sovereign, transparent data market that is suitable for the country's cultural and legal characteristics.
Meanwhile, the national decentralized identification system - NDA DID is designed according to the Decentralized Identity (DID) model, allowing each individual or organization to have full control over their identification information without depending on any intermediary.
Not only does it help prevent information fraud, electronic fraud and privacy violations, it also creates a reliable platform for deploying a range of digital services in the future.
The application of DID (decentralized digital identification) in the development of data management applications is a clear demonstration of Vietnam's core technology mastery capacity approaching the world.
By realizing the orientation of Resolution 57, the National Decentralized Identification System marks a major step forward in creating a safe digital environment, laying the foundation for a healthy and sustainable development of the data economy./.
