Speaking at the congress, Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Chi Lang Ward Phan Thanh Dung suggested that the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Chi Lang Ward for the 2025-2030 term continue to innovate the content and methods of operation in the direction of being close to the people, focusing on the grassroots, operating practically and effectively, avoiding formalities; diversifying forms of mobilization and gathering. The leader of Chi Lang Ward emphasized that the newly merged locality is both favorable and challenging, but with the determination of the Party Committee, the government and the consensus and solidarity of cadres, party members and people, Chi Lang Ward will make a breakthrough, affirming itself as one of the driving forces for development of the province.
Vice President of An Giang Province Veterans Association Nguyen Huu Thanh presented a congratulatory banner to the congress.
In particular, 2025 is the year to organize Party congresses at all levels, leading up to the 14th Party Congress; 2026 is the year to organize elections for National Assembly and People's Council deputies at all levels. These are two very important events for the Fatherland Front and socio -political organizations participating in Party and State building to truly rely on the people to introduce exemplary cadres and Party members to participate in the leadership apparatus of the Party and government at all levels.

The consultative congress elected the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Chi Lang ward for the 2025 - 2030 term, consisting of 56 members. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward held its first meeting, consulted to elect the Standing Committee of 5 members and the positions of chairman and vice chairman; consulted to elect comrade Chau Thi Thu Thuy to hold the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Chi Lang ward for the 2025 - 2030 term.
