Ho Chi Minh road project Rach Soi - Ben Nhat section is being paved.
The Ho Chi Minh Road project is nearly 52km long, starting in March 2024, expected to be completed by the end of 2025, connecting the entire Ho Chi Minh Road according to the National Assembly Resolution.
However, up to now, there are still more than 2km and Canh Den bridge that have not yet handed over the land, due to 89 households not agreeing on the compensation plan, complaints about land encroachment and disputes. The construction progress of 3 resettlement areas and the relocation of technical infrastructure is behind schedule.
The Ministry of Construction requested An Giang province to focus all resources, completely resolve existing problems by September 2025, promptly complete resettlement areas, relocate infrastructure and hand over remaining sites, create favorable conditions for contractors to construct, and ensure the project is completed on schedule.
The Ministry of Construction affirmed that it will direct the Ho Chi Minh Road Project Management Board to closely coordinate with localities, promptly remove difficulties and mobilize maximum machinery and human resources to speed up construction progress as soon as the site is cleared.
