Electricity leaking into telecommunication lines

In the complaint, Mr. Ninh said that from January to July 2025, the family's electricity bill ranged from 235,000 VND to nearly 1 million VND/month. By August 2025, the bill suddenly skyrocketed to 12 million VND, while in reality he lived alone, using electricity for lighting, fans, refrigerators and some basic appliances, without any additional high-power power consuming appliances.
Notably, according to the family's reflection, at the end of July 2025, there was a power outage. The electricity staff came to check, discovered an electric leakage behind the meter and turned off the circuit breaker, but did not make a record or send a written notice. Therefore, the family did not know the cause to handle it promptly.

In the petition, Mr. Ninh expressed: “I am nearly 80 years old, live alone, and am unable to climb to check the power lines. The bill of more than 12 million VND is beyond my ability to pay. “I earnestly request that Nam Dinh Electricity and My Loc Electricity Group review the bill and respond in writing as soon as possible.”
