Preparing to start and inaugurate a series of projects and works on December 19

(Chinhphu.vn) - The Ministry of Construction has just sent a document requesting ministries, branches, People's Committees of provinces and cities, corporations and general companies under the Ministry of Finance to review and register the inauguration and commencement of projects and works to welcome the 14th National Congress of the Party.

Implementing the direction of the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Construction requested ministries, branches, People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities, corporations and general companies under the Ministry of Finance to direct agencies and units to speed up investment procedures, review progress to select works and projects eligible to register for inauguration and commencement on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the National Resistance Day (December 19, 1946 - December 19, 2025) and welcome the 14th National Congress of the Party for the 2025 - 2030 term.

List of projects registered before November 10

The list of registered works and projects eligible for inauguration and commencement must be sent to the Ministry of Construction in writing before November 10.

"Units complete procedures according to regulations, ensuring sufficient conditions to organize inauguration and groundbreaking of works and projects; Proactively prepare necessary technical conditions to organize inauguration and groundbreaking ceremonies for projects nationwide in the form of direct and online connection of bridges (expected to be held on December 19) according to the direction of the Prime Minister ", the Ministry of Construction requested.

Concentrate all resources to quickly put projects into operation

Previously, on September 4, the Prime Minister issued Official Dispatch No. 158 directing ministries, branches, localities, enterprises, and press agencies to prepare for the inauguration and groundbreaking ceremonies of large-scale and meaningful projects and works to welcome the 14th National Congress of the Party.

Specifically, ministries, branches, localities, and enterprises urgently direct agencies, units, investors, project management boards, contractors, etc. to focus all resources, make efforts to accelerate and make further breakthroughs to speed up the construction progress of projects and works, calling on all cadres, civil servants, laborers, consulting units, and workers at construction sites to promote the spirit of "overcoming the sun, overcoming the rain, not losing to storms", working "3 shifts, 4 shifts"... to quickly put projects into operation, ensuring quality.

Construction works and projects with plans for inauguration and commencement need to promptly complete legal procedures and documents to fully meet the conditions according to regulations.

Each ministry, sector, locality, corporation, general company, private enterprise, and FDI enterprise strives to have at least 2 projects and works eligible for inauguration or commencement.

The Ministry of Construction - the Standing Agency in charge is assigned to coordinate with the Government Office and relevant agencies to review the list of projects and works to ensure conditions for organizing inaugurations, groundbreakings, developing programs, scenarios, and plans for online connection to bridge points; developing central reports, speeches by the Prime Minister, and reporting to the Prime Minister before December 5.
