The Vietnamese Embassy in India and Nepal is continuing to closely coordinate with local authorities to monitor the situation and be ready to take necessary protection measures in case Vietnamese citizens encounter difficulties.

According to the Spokesperson, given the current developments in Nepal, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommends that Vietnamese citizens in Nepal limit leaving their homes and avoid areas with protests and riots, especially the capital Kathmandu of Nepal and areas with security and safety risks.

Citizens need to regularly monitor the situation on reputable local media and the website of the Vietnamese Embassy in India and Nepal; strictly comply with the local authorities' guidelines on security measures, and proactively take necessary security measures for themselves and their relatives.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also recommends that citizens regularly maintain close contact with the Vietnamese Embassy in India and Nepal. "Vietnamese citizens who do not have really necessary work should carefully consider before making a trip to Nepal," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Spokesperson emphasized.

In case of emergency requiring support or information on citizen protection plans, citizens can immediately contact the Vietnamese Embassy in India and Nepal through the citizen protection hotline of the Embassy as well as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
