Comrade Pham Trieu, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province attended and directed the Congress.
Speaking at the opening of the Congress, Comrade Mai Linh Son, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of D'Ran Commune emphasized: With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Creativity - Development", this Congress has the task of assessing the situation and results of implementing the Resolution of the Congress of Delegates of the Fatherland Front of the Commune for the term 2024 - 2029 and setting out directions, tasks, and a Program of coordinated action with the highest determination. Thereby, joining hands to build D'Ran Commune to develop rapidly, sustainably, richly, civilizedly and affectionately.
D'Ran commune was established on the basis of merging D'Ran town and Lac Xuan commune of Don Duong district (old). The whole commune has 31 villages, over 33,500 people. Of which, ethnic minorities account for nearly 22%. The whole commune has 31 religious establishments with 4 main religions, including: Buddhism, Caodaism, Catholicism and Protestantism; 65% of the population are religious people.
Over the years, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and its member organizations have promoted the strength of national solidarity, practiced democracy, participated in party building, and built a strong government. At the same time, they have mobilized the people to agree to carry out the tasks of socio -economic development, ensuring national defense and security, contributing to building a stable and comprehensively developed commune.
The work of the Commune Front in the past term has had many remarkable achievements. Notable among them is the organization and implementation of patriotic emulation movements and campaigns, especially the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", focusing on building typical residential areas and model residential areas. The whole commune has 21/31 villages achieving model residential areas at district and provincial levels.
The movement of "Repaying gratitude" and activities to care for and help the poor, the disadvantaged and social security activities have been focused on and implemented by the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the commune, achieving many positive results. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune has advised the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses to support the construction of 15 new solidarity houses and the repair of 2 houses.
The Commune Fatherland Front maintains regular meetings and visits with religious organizations and dignitaries to exchange information, grasp the situation and promote its role in participating in propaganda and mobilizing followers and people to carry out campaigns and patriotic emulation movements.
Social supervision and criticism work in the past term has become a regular and central activity of the Front and socio- political organizations, having a strong impact and transforming many areas of social life.
In his speech directing the Congress, comrade Pham Trieu, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province acknowledged and commended the results that the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the People of D'Ran commune had achieved in the past term. In particular, he commended the efforts of the commune's Front cadres, especially the grassroots Front cadres who have upheld the spirit of responsibility, enthusiasm for work, dedication to work, and closeness to the grassroots, contributing significantly to the overall achievements of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the commune.
He suggested that the Action Program for the next term of the Fatherland Front of D'Ran commune should closely follow the Resolution of the 1st Commune Party Congress and update and supplement the tasks and solutions to implement the Resolution of the 1st Commune Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term. Continue to innovate and attach importance to the effectiveness and substance of information, propaganda and people mobilization work.
Along with that, continue to innovate and effectively implement campaigns and emulation movements initiated by the Front; improve the effectiveness of organizing the annual National Unity Day in residential areas. Consider this a special method in building and promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc right from each residential area and residential group.
The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee also requested the D'Ran Commune Fatherland Front to continue to improve the effectiveness and results of social supervision and criticism work. At the same time, continue to innovate the content and methods of operation to complete the increasing workload.
The Congress consulted the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of D'Ran commune for the 2025 - 2030 term, including 61 members; elected 1 official delegate and 1 alternate delegate to attend the 1st Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front of Lam Dong province, term 2025 - 2030.
The first conference of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune for the new term elected 5 members to the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune; Mr. Mai Linh Son was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of D'Ran commune for the 2025 - 2030 term.
