VPSF 2025: Accompanying in private economic development

(Chinhphu.vn) - More than 3,000 opinions from the business community nationwide will be sent to the VPSF 2025 High-Level Dialogue on September 16, where Government leaders and ministries and branches will listen and exchange directly to remove difficulties, contribute to realizing the pillar resolutions, promote the development of the private economic sector, and contribute to the goal of rapid and sustainable development of the country.

Attracting the attention of the business community

The high-level dialogue session of the Vietnam Private Sector Forum (VPSF) 2025 will take place on September 16 in Hanoi, chaired by Government leaders, with the participation of ministries, sectors, localities and about 1,000 businesses and entrepreneurs. Previously, on September 15, four thematic dialogue sessions were held, focusing on key areas.

Mr. Dang Hong Anh, Chairman of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, Chairman of VPSF 2025, said that more than 3,000 opinions and recommendations were compiled from 9 local dialogue sessions and 3 thematic sessions on startups, legal issues, and go global. The opinions will be forwarded to the high-level session - where there will be direct dialogue with leaders of the Government and ministries and branches.

Of these, the group of opinions on the policy environment accounted for about 40%. Enterprises expressed concerns about the instability, unpredictability, overlapping documents, complicated administrative procedures, and inconsistency in implementation, especially with land-use investment projects.

About 35% of respondents reported difficulties in accessing credit, especially for small and micro enterprises. They said that the demand for capital to expand production is huge, but access to bank capital is still limited and there is a lack of appropriate support mechanisms.

Regarding infrastructure and logistics, 25% of respondents said that transportation costs in Vietnam are 10-15% higher than the regional average, directly affecting competitiveness and profits. Businesses want the Government to increase investment in infrastructure and modernize logistics to reduce costs.

The remaining 20% ​​of opinions focused on science and technology, especially from small businesses. These units reflected the situation of "lack of capital, lack of human resources, lack of digital transformation tools", which limited innovation capacity.

These are genuine reflections, sent from many components, including large and small enterprises, business households in 34 provinces and cities, and even opinions from Vietnamese businessmen abroad.

The Government accompanies businesses, realizing the pillar resolution

According to Mr. Dang Hong Anh, the goal of VPSF is to have substantive dialogue, specific solutions, and implementation to the end. This is not only the desire of the business community but also the mission of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association in accompanying the Government.

VPSF 2025 is held in the context that the Party, State and Government are determined to implement important resolutions of the Politburo. These are Resolution 57-NQ/TW on Breakthrough in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation; Resolution 59-NQ/TW on International integration in the new situation; Resolution 66-NQ/TW on Innovation in law making and enforcement; Resolution 68-NQ/TW on Developing the private economy into an important driving force of the economy; Resolution 71-NQ/TW on Breakthrough in education and training development.

The Government’s support at VPSF 2025 demonstrates a spirit of openness, listening and commitment to removing barriers for businesses. In fact, not only now but also in the past, many recommendations from businesses have been recorded and transformed into specific policies.

Many problems related to administrative procedures and business conditions have been amended in decrees and guiding circulars. This is a testament to the forum's practicality and informality.

With a network of 20,000 members operating in 34 provinces and cities, the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association affirms that it will closely monitor the policy implementation process after the forum. The recommendations of businesses will not only stop at "sending" but will be monitored for the feedback journey, aiming to reach the final destination: creating appropriate and effective policies.

According to Mr. Dang Hong Anh, the theme of VPSF 2025 is "Unleashing Potential - Creating Vietnam's Future". This is not only a slogan but also demonstrates the aspiration of Vietnamese businesses and entrepreneurs to contribute to the country.

With the participation and listening of Government leaders, ministries and branches, VPSF 2025 is expected to be a place to promote specific solutions, thereby making practical contributions to the long-term double-digit growth target.
