In her opening speech, Chairwoman of Yet Kieu Commune People's Committee Pham Thi Thu said that the former concubine Hoang Thai Hau Y Lan Thanh Mau's real name was Le Thi Yen, born on March 7, 1044 (Giap Than) in Tho Loi village, later changed to Sieu Loai, Thuan Thanh, Bac Ninh, now Gia Lam, Hanoi .
In 1063, King Ly Thanh Tong went to pray for a child. He saw a beautiful mulberry picking girl who was very good at answering questions. He was impressed and brought her back to the court to be his concubine. In 1069, King Ly Thanh Tong went to war and handed over the power of internal affairs to Royal Concubine Y Lan. Not letting down the King's trust, she took care of the affairs of the court, strictly maintained court discipline, and cared for the people's lives, and was loved and trusted by the people.

In 1072, King Ly Thanh Tong suddenly passed away, and for the second time, Royal Concubine Y Lan was appointed Queen Mother Regent. During her regency, she implemented many measures to govern the country, pacify the people, and care for the people's lives. She and other wise men, through skillful diplomacy , helped the country avoid foreign invasion. From a village girl who grew mulberry and raised silkworms, thanks to her intelligence, kindness, patriotism, and love for the people, she created miracles with other wise men to glorify the country.
Royal concubine Y Lan passed away on July 25, 1117 (Dinh Dau). She was honored as Quan Am Nu, Mother of the World. In gratitude for her merits, when she passed away, the people of Yet Kieu commune built a temple, which is today's Duoi Temple.
