Nearly 8.6 million visitors visited the Exhibition "80 years of journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness"

After just over two weeks of opening, the National Achievement Exhibition “80 Years of Independence-Freedom-Happiness Journey” has recorded a record number of visitors. According to the Organizing Committee, as of September 13, the total number of visitors was nearly 8.6 million. On September 13, there were nearly 1.3 million visitors.

The exhibition “80 years of the journey of Independence-Freedom-Happiness” opened on August 28 at the National Exhibition and Fair Center, Dong Anh (Hanoi). This is an important political and cultural event, the largest in scale ever, introducing the great achievements of the country during 80 years of construction and development.

With its strong appeal, the National Achievements Exhibition has become a special cultural destination, attracting a large number of people across the country. This is an opportunity for each citizen to be more proud of the glorious historical tradition, and to feel more clearly the achievements of the country's development. On weekends, the number of visitors increased dramatically, creating a bustling and exciting atmosphere. It is expected that after its conclusion, after 19 days of opening, the Exhibition will reach a record high in the number of visitors.

Today, September 14, a series of attractive activities for visitors continue to take place: hot air balloon performance at the east yard; free movie screenings at building A; art performances at the central stage by the Vietnam Drama Theater, Vietnam Circus Federation, Vietnam Contemporary Arts Theater and Vietnam National Opera and Ballet.

In halls 5 and 6, visitors can experience the art of cutting pandan leaves, painting masks, weaving water hyacinths; enjoy the display of Luc Van Tien books; listen to artisans perform traditional musical instruments, gongs, T'rung instruments, etc.

The exhibition will end at 4pm on September 15. The closing ceremony will take place at 8pm on the same day at the outdoor stage north of the exhibition center, broadcast live on Vietnam Television.
