Business households contribute significantly

Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan, a long-time fruit vendor at Tan Dinh market (HCMC), said she was confused when she heard that she had to use electronic invoices that directly connected to the tax authorities.

At over 60 years old, with a modest monthly income, she worried that the cost of software, equipment and filing procedures would be beyond her means.

"I'm only used to writing in notebooks. Hearing about new technology and taxes makes me scared, and I think it will cost a lot if I have to buy more equipment," Ms. Lan shared.

Ms. Lan's story is also the common reality of many small businesses struggling to adapt to the digitalization process, especially when Decree 70 requires business households to use electronic invoices through cash registers.

According to Ms. Nguyen Phuong Huyen - Director of Sacombank's personal customer segment - business households not only contribute significantly to GDP but also create millions of jobs and are considered the "backbone" of many industries from industry - agriculture to trade - services.

"With high flexibility and adaptability, individuals and business households are affirming their position as economic drivers with great potential, high resilience and stability.

Besides support from the State, organizations such as banks and technology companies will also play an important role, helping small traders turn challenges into opportunities for more sustainable development," said Ms. Nguyen Phuong Huyen.

The bank goes directly to the place to listen and observe how small businesses operate, research the market, and from there design solutions suitable for each customer group.

For individual businesses, business households and small traders, the bank deploys a team of staff directly to each market and store to support account opening, issue QR codes, install payment announcement speakers and provide instructions on how to use the Sacombank Pay application.

Thanks to that, people gradually get used to the cashless payment process, easily track income and expenses on their phones and operate their business more securely.

For stores that are used to using technology such as coffee chains, pharmacies or grocery stores, the challenge is no longer in getting used to digital tools but in managing operations and maintaining flexible capital flows.

To solve this problem, the bank cooperates with partners such as MISA , NextPay... to provide 12 months of free comprehensive solutions from cash flow management, funds, debts to connecting electronic invoice software, accounting, digital signature.

At the same time, integrate sales management on multiple platforms from stores to e-commerce sites; support inventory management, employees, customers, etc.

Accompanying at every stage

The bank is also ready to provide timely capital support to business households through flexible loans with preferential interest rates, simple procedures, and quick disbursement.

With sudden capital needs, customers can use it without collateral to proactively rotate business capital.

"The characteristic of a grocery store is that it constantly imports goods, especially before each holiday or Tet, costs increase while sales revenue is slow. Timely working capital helps me maintain a full supply of goods and not miss business opportunities.

The bank has supported flexible loan limits, helping me proactively rotate capital, borrow and disburse right on the app, so it is very convenient and fast," said Mr. Nguyen Anh Minh - owner of a grocery store in Dong Nai.

For business households converting to enterprises, Sacombank provides a full package of specialized account services, from payment accounts, corporate cards, e-banking services, internal and external transfers... to online tax payment.

"The transition to a business model is the direction we have long wanted, but barriers in terms of capital, legality, technology and especially costs are still big challenges.

However, with new policies from the management agency and the support of the bank, everything is gradually becoming more favorable. I believe that there will be more and more business households boldly and confidently converting like us," Ms. La Xuan Hien - owner of an F&B business in Hanoi, who has just converted from a business household model - shared.

With comprehensive solutions, Sacombank helps businesses overcome three major barriers: finance, technology and legal.

This support not only helps them overcome difficulties in operations and compliance with regulations, but also brings practical benefits: increased revenue, cost savings and more professional management.

"Sacombank not only provides tools but also peace of mind and motivation for businesses to confidently develop. We are committed to accompanying businesses and small traders at every stage, from the beginning to sustainable development in the digital age," Ms. Nguyen Phuong Huyen emphasized.
