Different from the previous traditional exhibition format, implementing Plan No. 217 dated August 15, 2025 of the Provincial People's Committee on organizing the 6th Provincial Patriotic Emulation Congress, the Department of Home Affairs deployed to organize an exhibition of archived documents on cyberspace with the theme: " Lang Son through the Patriotic Emulation Congresses". This exhibition brings the public a new and modern experience. The public visiting the exhibition can access the link https://trienlamdaihoithidua.langson.gov.vn.
Through the online platform, viewers can access anytime, from anywhere to learn about historical milestones and patriotic emulation achievements of the province through each period.
Ms. Mac Thi Cuc, Director of the Provincial Historical Archives Center, Department of Home Affairs said: To prepare well for this exhibition, we have selected and collected typical documents, materials, images, and quotes that are being kept at the Provincial Historical Archives Center, National Archives Center III, and from many sources of agencies, organizations, and individuals. The exhibition of digital archives to serve the Provincial Patriotic Emulation Congress this time aims to widely propagate and educate cadres, party members, and people about historical and cultural traditions, patriotic emulation spirit, and the strength of great solidarity of the Party Committee, government, and people of all ethnic groups in the province.
Accordingly, the exhibition is arranged into 8 display areas divided into 4 spaces, with more than 175 documents, images, and typical quotes. The display areas include President Ho Chi Minh's call for patriotic emulation in 1948; the 1st to 5th Patriotic Emulation Congresses of Lang Son province, period 2000 - 2020; patriotic emulation movement period 2020 - 2025, future orientations and aspirations. In addition, the exhibition also introduces important achievements and results in implementing the tasks of economic and social development, ensuring national defense and security. In addition, the public can also watch documentaries about the patriotic emulation movement in the province.
Each display section of the exhibition is set in a typical space of Lang Son such as the monument of comrade Hoang Van Thu (Luong Van Tri ward); Mac Dynasty citadel relic (Tam Thanh ward); Phai Ve flagpole (Dong Kinh ward).
Each display section of the exhibition is a vivid story illustrated by precious archival documents, images, texts, award decisions, articles, handwriting and many digitized artifacts. Thanks to the application of information technology, viewers can not only read the documents but also zoom in, interact, listen to narration or watch documentary clips.
In the context of digital transformation, organizing exhibitions of archived documents on cyberspace is a practical step, in line with the trend. Not only does it save costs and increase convenience, exhibitions also contribute to modernizing traditional propaganda and education. At the same time, this is an effective way to preserve and promote the value of archived documents - the "historical witnesses" of the patriotic emulation movement.
The online exhibition “Lang Son through the Patriotic Emulation Congresses” is not only an activity of profound political and social significance, but also a space to inspire and spread President Ho Chi Minh’s patriotic emulation ideology to the masses. At the same time, it contributes to preserving and promoting the value of archival documents.
