On the afternoon of September 12, speaking with VietNamNet reporter, a leader of Vinh Tuy ward police said that the unit is urgently verifying the case of baby PTA (4 years old, residing in Minh Khai) who is suspected of being beaten by a teacher at T.D. kindergarten, leaving her face bruised.

According to initial information, on the afternoon of September 11, when she went to school to pick up her child, Ms. Nguyen Mai P. (born in 1992, mother of child A.) was shocked to discover many bruises on the child's face. Too worried, she asked the teacher in charge of class Nguyen Thi U. and was told that child A. "was beaten by a friend".

However, seeing unusual signs, Ms. P. filed a police report. After the authorities got involved, the teacher admitted that she had beaten the child.

Speaking to VietNamNet reporter, Ms. P. indignantly said: “My family asked the principal to review the classroom camera, but the school did not agree. I suspected that my child was hit in the head, so I earnestly asked to review the camera. Currently, my child is still being treated at the hospital, often complaining of headaches.”

According to A., teacher U. also told her "not to tell her parents about the beating she gave her." However, children are honest, so she told her family everything.

On the afternoon of September 12, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hien, Principal of T.D. Kindergarten, said that immediately after receiving a report about child PTA being abused by a teacher, resulting in bruises on the face, the school quickly coordinated with authorities to clarify the cause.

According to the school representative, the incident is under investigation and verification. While waiting for the official conclusion, the school board has assigned staff to coordinate with the family to care for and encourage the child, while actively overcoming the consequences caused by the teacher.

The case is being investigated and clarified by Vinh Tuy Ward Police in coordination with functional units.
