Handling responsibility for school forcing students to wear 3 types of uniforms during the week

(NLDO) – The leaders of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Education and Training to handle the responsibility of the school forcing students to wear 3 types of uniforms with 3 different colors during the week.

On September 17, at a regular press conference organized by the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Da, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Dak Lak Province, responded to press reports about the incident in which a school forced students to wear three uniform colors for a week.

According to Mr. Da, after learning that the school forced students to wear three different colored uniforms in one week, the Department of Education and Training established a working group to verify.

The Department of Education and Training of Dak Lak province worked with the People's Committee of Ea Drang commune and Ly Tu Trong Primary School and found that the information reported by the press was correct.

Accordingly, at the beginning of the 2025-2026 school year, Ly Tu Trong Primary School planned to make new uniforms for students. After the press reported, the Department of Education and Training worked with the school to find that it had not made uniforms for the 2025-2026 school year as planned.

At the press conference, Mr. Truong Cong Thai, Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee, requested the Department of Education and Training to report clearly in writing to handle "the right person, the right job" to advise and remind other schools in the province.

As reported by Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, according to parents' feedback, in 2023-2024, Ly Tu Trong Primary School will have yellow uniforms for students.

By the 2024-2025 school year, the school has agreed to purchase additional orange uniforms for students. By the beginning of the 2025-2026 school year, the school will continue to change the uniform to light brown pants or skirts and green shirts.

On the Zalo group, a teacher from Ly Tu Trong Primary School announced: "Wear blue shirts on Monday and Wednesday; orange shirts on Tuesday and Thursday; and white, blue, or orange shirts on Friday. On days when there is physical education, wear gym clothes."
