On the morning of July 19, Dong Da ward launched a peak period to ensure urban order, traffic safety and environmental sanitation; and implemented the emulation movement "Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful" in the area.
Speaking at the ceremony, Party Secretary and Chairman of Dong Da Ward People's Council Nguyen Ngoc Viet emphasized that from the very first days of operation and in the draft Political Report of the Ward Party Committee for the next 5 years, the goal of building Dong Da Ward into a model ward of urban civilization, "Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful". This task has been concretized by the launching of a peak emulation campaign to celebrate major holidays and important political events of the Capital and the country.
In order to maintain environmental sanitation as a routine, a regular task like “daily food and water”, the Party Secretary of the ward emphasized that joining hands to preserve and build Dong Da ward to be more civilized and beautiful must have the participation of the entire political system, taking the people as the center of service, promoting the strength of the people's participation as the core; from the sense of responsibility of each citizen, for the health of themselves, their families and the community.

Vice Chairman of Dong Da Ward People's Committee Nguyen Trong Hai called on each household, each street, each residential group to join in general cleaning, clearing trash, clearing grass, whitewashing tree stumps, planting and taking care of flowers, grass, and trees. Political and social organizations, armed forces, and youth volunteers actively took action to remove advertisements, remove "garbage black spots", collect waste, and tidy up public areas. Business households and enterprises in the area seriously signed a commitment not to litter, not to violate environmental regulations, and to actively participate in maintaining the landscape of their business locations.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, the participating forces were deployed to operate on very specific streets. In which, the immediate focus was on 4 radial streets considered the face of Dong Da ward, including: Tay Son - Nguyen Luong Bang - Xa Dan, Thai Ha, Lang Ha, Lang - Nga Tu So.

The routes are directed and managed by the Standing Committee of the Ward Party Committee; clearly assigning people, tasks, and responsibilities, with post-inspection, supervision, and cross-checking.
From the way of doing things on radial streets, on other streets, alleys in residential areas, agencies, units, schools, households... together carry out environmental sanitation, ensuring urban order and civilization with the participation and assignment of areas according to residential groups and residential area party cells.
