Thu Lam Commune: Many gratitude activities on War Invalids and Martyrs Day

The delegation visited and presented gifts to People's Armed Forces Hero Le Do Ngoan, Mr. Nguyen Nguyen Trang, a war invalid with over 81% disability, and Mr. Le Trang Tri, a war invalid with over 81% disability, all living in Zone 5, Thu Lam Commune.

At the families, comrade Pham Trong La, Chairman of Thu Lam Commune People's Committee, kindly asked about the health and life of the policy beneficiaries and expressed deep gratitude for the great sacrifices and contributions of generations of fathers and brothers for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

The visit and gift-giving activities deeply demonstrate the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source" and "Repaying gratitude" of the Party Committee, government and people of Thu Lam commune, thereby contributing to expressing gratitude for the great contributions of previous generations, adding confidence and motivation for policy families to continue to rise up in life, contributing to educating the tradition of patriotism and national pride for the young generation today and tomorrow.

Previously, Thu Lam commune actively participated in supporting the Gratitude Fund, practically commemorating the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day; associations and organizations simultaneously launched a campaign to clean, sanitize, and embellish the cemetery grounds of the commune.
