Cruise ship sinking in Ha Long Bay: 10 people rescued, 3 victims' bodies recovered

At around 1:45 p.m. on July 19, due to a sudden storm, near Dau Go Cave, Ha Long Bay, a tourist boat with registration number QN-7105 sank.

Immediately after receiving the information, Quang Ninh provincial authorities urgently deployed rescue work.

Quang Ninh Provincial Party Secretary Vu Dai Thang directly directed the rescue work; assigned Deputy Provincial Party Secretary and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Duc An to be present at the scene to direct the rescue work, ensuring the safety of tourists and crew members.

By 5:45 p.m., 10 people had been rescued, including passengers and crew members (Quang Ninh Provincial Border Guard rescued 7 people, civilian boats rescued 3 people), and 3 victims' bodies had been recovered.
