Attending the meeting were representatives of VFF leaders including Mr. Tran Anh Tu - Vice President, Mr. Duong Nghiep Khoi - General Secretary of VFF. On the side of the Licensing Board, there were Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Ngoc Vien - Head of the Licensing Board, Ms. Nguyen Thi My Dung - Deputy Head of the Licensing Board.

Many VFF leaders were present at the important meeting.

After the meeting, VFF announced the decisions for the next season: "Licensing 4 clubs to participate in the National Championship season 2024 - 2025 including: Becamex Binh Duong Club, Ho Chi Minh City Club, SLNA Club, SHB Da Nang Club.

Conditionally licensed 8 clubs to participate in the National Championship in the 2024-2025 season, including: Nam Dinh Club, PVF - CAND Club, Hanoi Police Club, Hanoi Club, The Cong - Viettel Club, Ha Tinh Club, Quang Nam Club and LPBank HAGL Club".

VFF also granted conditional licenses with penalties to 4 clubs participating in the National Championship in the 2024-2025 season, including: Hai Phong Club, Dong A Thanh Hoa Club, MerryLand Quy Nhon Binh Dinh Club and Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc Club.

However, VFF also added about the conditions for Hai Phong and Binh Dinh teams: “For Hai Phong Club and MerryLand Quy Nhon Binh Dinh Club, by July 15, 2024 at the latest, they must submit documents proving that they meet the financial criteria (F.04). After the above deadline, if the club does not complete the documents, the Licensing Board will consider revoking the license.”

Teams eligible for the 2024-2025 season have been notified.

Khanh Hoa Club was announced not eligible to participate in the 2024 - 2025 season.

The most regrettable thing after the meeting was that VFF had to announce that it would not grant a license for Khanh Hoa Club to participate in the National Championship for the 2024-2025 season. The reason is that this team does not meet the criteria of Class A in terms of finance and facilities. After being relegated to the V-League for the 2024-2025 season, this is certainly the next sad news that Khanh Hoa Club must receive.

All football teams have now received the decision from VFF. "Clubs that are licensed with penalties or not licensed have the right to appeal to the Licensing Complaints Board before 24 hours, June 21, 2024," VFF added.
