Having just completed her thesis defense in Foreign Trade from the Faculty of International Business (University of Economics , University of Danang), student Le Kha Tuyet Phuong received great news when she won two full scholarships from prestigious schools in Europe.
The first is a full scholarship granted by the Danish Government through Copenhagen Business School, where Phuong plans to study the MSc EBA in Supply Chain Management program. This scholarship covers all tuition and living expenses for 2 years of study, estimated at about 1.6 billion VND. Next to it is a full scholarship from the University of Trento (Italy) with a total value of about 700 million VND.
Surpassing thousands of candidates to win the “double” full scholarship is not an easy thing. Thinking back to this time, Phuong cannot help but feel emotional.
The stage of preparing documents to send to schools was also the time when the final year student struggled with the pressure of homework and first semester exams. “During that time, thanks to the companionship of family, friends and teachers and the effort to manage time, I overcame each stage and gradually reached my dream,” Phuong said.
Recently, Phuong officially became the valedictorian of the Foreign Trade major of the Faculty of International Business. Her GPA was perfect at 4.0/4.0, and she also achieved IELTS 8.0.
Previously, the Da Nang student had a "golden list" of impressive achievements in studying, scientific research and union movements such as: First prize in the Student Scientific Research Competition at the faculty, school and city levels and Third prize in the Ministry of Education and Training competition in 2024; won the "Best Paper Award" at the International Conference of Student Scientific Research of Economics and Business Universities 2024; scholarship to encourage learning for 6 consecutive terms; "The Best of MB Chasing" scholarship for 2 consecutive years; participated in the discussion at the International Scientific Conference for young scientists in Economics and Business 2024...
One of the people Phuong mentioned who stood by her side on her journey to reach her dream is Dr. Pham Thi Be Loan.
During the 4 years Phuong studied at the Faculty of International Business, and then when she prepared her application to study abroad, Ms. Loan was her companion when she researched scholarships, chose a major and a reputable school, edited her application, wrote a letter of recommendation, etc. Her wish was to help the school council see Phuong's seriousness, will to progress, and potential for academic development.
In the opinion of Dr. Pham Thi Be Loan, Phuong is an active student, has a progressive spirit in learning and is always proactive in receiving new knowledge.
Her success also has an important contribution from the systematic training program at the Faculty of International Business of the University of Economics with content that closely combines theory and practice, always updated according to international standards. That is one of the fundamental factors for Phuong and her friends to confidently integrate and conquer international dreams.
These days, Phuong is rushing for her university graduation ceremony and preparing for her upcoming journey in Europe. In addition to knowledge, her upcoming luggage also includes creativity, positive spirit and constant efforts of a dynamic young person from the city on the Han River.
