Vice Chairman of Trieu Trach Commune People's Committee Tran Dong said: This year's nem crop in Trieu Trach Commune has produced over 10 hectares. After about 3 months of planting and caring, it is now time to harvest. The average yield is 11 tons/ha. Currently, the price of nem fluctuates from 20 - 25 thousand VND/kg, so each hectare brings in revenue from 220 - 275 million VND, much higher than many other crops. These days, Trieu Trach Commune people are urgently harvesting to serve the needs of the Lunar New Year.

Currently, Trieu Trach commune is encouraging people to expand the area, exploit the strengths of the sandy area to grow neem trees, move towards building a concentrated neem tree growing area, and develop VietGAP products. This is a reasonable direction to exploit the strengths of the sandy area, increase the value of the products, and contribute to increasing income for people.
