They were soldiers carrying within them the love for the Fatherland, ready to sacrifice for the independence and freedom of the nation.
The photo exhibition “Portraits of Heroes of the People's Armed Forces in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign” organized by the Dien Bien Phu Victory Museum on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day is a bridge to continue spreading the value and stature of the Dien Bien Phu Victory in 1954 to a large number of people and domestic and international tourists.

Ms. Vu Thi Tuyet Nga added that the exhibition displays 30 portraits of typical People's Armed Forces Heroes in the historic Dien Bien Phu Campaign, many of whom sacrificed their lives and recorded their names in history such as Phan Dinh Giot, To Vinh Dien,... and many who are living witnesses of a victory "famous in five continents, shaking the world" such as bomb disposal king Cao Xuan Tho, Colonel Chu Van Mui, Hoang Dang Vinh, the person who captured General De Castries,...
