On February 3, in the atmosphere of celebrating the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2024) and welcoming the Year of the Dragon, Luong Van Tuy High School for the Gifted organized the "Folk Culture Festival to Welcome the Year of the Dragon 2024".
The festival was organized with meaningful activities, bearing the imprint of traditional Tet: Banh Chung wrapping contest, calligraphy contest, Tet food fair of 3 regions, chess competition; contest to make artistic flowers from environmentally friendly materials; folk games such as: jumping rope, tug of war, blindfolded duck catching... attracting a large number of students of the school to participate.
The folk culture festival has become an annual activity of Luong Van Tuy High School for the Gifted with many activities towards the traditional New Year, with the desire to create a cultural playground for students, helping them understand, be proud, as well as be more responsible in preserving, conserving and promoting the cultural beauty of the Vietnamese people.
Participating in the Folk Culture Festival to Welcome the Spring of Giap Thin 2024 of Luong Van Tuy High School for the Gifted this year are also former students of the school such as: Singer Thuy Linh, Miss Universe Vietnam 2023 Bui Thi Xuan Hanh...
