*Previously, in order to proactively respond to dangerous weather (big waves, strong winds at sea; rain, thunderstorms, lightning,... on land) due to the impact of storm No. 3, on July 19, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Vinh Long province issued an official dispatch requesting provincial departments and branches; People's Committees of communes and wards, especially coastal localities, to closely monitor warning bulletins, weather forecasts, developments of storm No. 3, strong winds, big waves and dangerous weather at sea and on land; promptly notify captains, owners of vehicles and vessels operating at sea to proactively prevent and have appropriate production plans, as well as have plans to ensure safety for people and property; maintain communication to promptly handle bad situations that may occur; be on guard against tornadoes and gusts of wind during thunderstorms.
At the same time, strengthen information and propaganda work on developments and measures to respond to storms and dangerous weather at sea and on land through mass media so that people can proactively prevent and reduce damage.
