Speaking at the launching ceremony, Chairman of the People's Committee of Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam Ward Ha Anh Tuan emphasized: "Ensuring urban order, environmental sanitation, fire prevention and fighting is a regular and continuous task, requiring the participation of the entire political system and all people. The ward government always upholds the sense of responsibility in maintaining a bright - green - clean - beautiful urban landscape, and at the same time hopes that each citizen is an active propagandist, proactively maintaining hygiene and safety in the place where they live."
The ward has mobilized departments, branches and organizations to simultaneously clean up and handle accumulated garbage, clean up the environment in public areas, alleys and streets, and at the same time encourage people to maintain the habit of cleaning up every Saturday morning.
On Kham Thien Street alone, the authorities have set up five checkpoints to inspect, guide and handle violations of regulations on urban order, environmental sanitation, fire prevention and fighting. At the checkpoints, residential groups in the area are assigned to send personnel to coordinate with the authorities to guide, propagate and handle violations.
The campaign not only includes cleaning up trash and the environment, but also includes checking for fire and explosion risks in residential areas, checking for unsightly urban areas, and encroachment on sidewalks and roads.
According to the Chairman of the Ward People's Committee, the work of general cleaning, ensuring urban order, fire prevention and fighting will not stop at this campaign but will continue to be maintained regularly on Saturday mornings, becoming a regular lifestyle, spreading in each neighborhood and residential area.
The ward encourages people to proactively detect and report on waste accumulation, violations of urban order, and fire and explosion risks so that the government can take timely support and handling measures.
