On the afternoon of July 19, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ngoc Ha ward organized the launch of the model "Listening to the people speak".
The model of "Listening to the people speak" was deployed by Ngoc Ha ward after implementing the two-level local government model, in order to promptly receive and process information, feedback and recommendations from people and businesses.
With the motto "People have opinions - please speak; have feedback - please send! The Front listens - The government responds!", people of Ngoc Ha ward will not need to go to the ward Party Committee or government, but only need to scan the QR code "Ngoc Ha's comments" to send suggestions via the link (with attached form).
People participate in giving opinions or contributions to the Party Committee and the government on issues such as: Organizing the implementation of the Party's Resolutions, the State's legal policies, the People's Council's Resolutions, State management in the fields of economy , construction investment, culture, society, national defense, security and order... in the area, implementing administrative reforms, implementing the Grassroots Democracy Charter; building civilized urban areas; preventing and combating corruption, waste and other negative behaviors; receiving people and resolving complaints and denunciations of citizens.
People can also reflect on the political qualities, ethics, lifestyle, exemplary responsibility, and responsibility for performing public duties of cadres and civil servants, especially heads of Party committees and authorities in the process of performing their duties, and issues that people suggest need to be focused on directing and organizing implementation.
Periodically from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. every Saturday (from July 19, 2025 to December 30, 2025 (peak month from July 19 to August 30, 2025), at 100% of community activity houses in the ward, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward and the Front Working Committees of the Residential Groups will synthesize and classify recommendations and reflections; transfer them to competent authorities for handling according to their authority.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward also coordinates with the People's Committee to monitor and track the progress of the handling, publicize the results and periodically report to the Party Committee, the People's Committee of the ward and organize an assessment of the model's effectiveness.
Speaking at the launch of the model, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ngoc Ha Ward, Tran Thi Ha Giang, said that with the consistent theme of "Listening to act - Acting to serve - Digitalizing to the people" taking the people as the center and people's satisfaction as the measure, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward hopes that the model will be implemented in a truly effective manner, with a strong influence on all people in the ward.
Speaking at the ceremony, Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Ngoc Ha Ward Nguyen Cong Thanh requested all residents to actively participate in and maintain the model; Party committees, authorities, and residential groups regularly promote their roles and responsibilities to ensure quality, promptly respond to people's opinions and recommendations. At the same time, the ward organizes experience sharing and continues to listen to people's opinions and recommendations, ensuring the model is maintained sustainably and replicated throughout the area.
