Phu Yen province's planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, orients that Phu Yen province will develop logistics centers associated with Tuy Hoa airport, Vung Ro port, Bai Goc deep-water port and Dong Hoa ICD dry port; form logistics centers associated with major urban areas of the province and industrial parks in the area; focus on building infrastructure to support multimodal transport such as freight stations for trains and a system of roads and connecting roads with the North - South expressway...
By 2030, Phu Yen province will develop 3 logistics centers, including: Logistics center in Dong Hoa and inland container depot (ICD) serving Vung Ro port and Bai Goc port; Logistics center in the west of Tuy Hoa city (transfer station); Song Cau logistics center associated with Song Cau industrial parks.

Previously, on July 1, 2021, the People's Committee of Phu Yen province issued Plan No. 120/KH-UBND on developing logistics services until 2025 in the province.
Accordingly, the goal is to develop logistics services to contribute to improving the province's competitiveness; build and gradually complete infrastructure for seaports, warehouses, transportation, information, and logistics centers; attract investment in developing logistics infrastructure in a synchronous and reasonable manner.
Phu Yen province prioritizes the arrangement of logistics services to serve industrial parks and industrial clusters; at the same time, supports the development of logistics service enterprises according to the motto: modern, professional to ensure competitiveness in the market...
Regarding logistics infrastructure investment, Phu Yen province will focus on attracting investment in developing logistics infrastructure, transport infrastructure, warehouse infrastructure and new applications in logistics; building logistics centers in the South Phu Yen economic zone, industrial parks and clusters to improve the efficiency of connectivity between Phu Yen province and the Central and Central Highlands provinces; investing in building and upgrading Vung Ro General Port to meet the import and export needs of goods, serving the socio-economic development of the province and the Central Highlands provinces.
Implementing Resolution No. 26-NQ/TW dated November 3, 2022 of the Politburo , Program No. 28-Ctr/TU dated June 30, 2023 of Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee and Plan No. 182/KH-UBND dated August 10, 2023 of the Provincial People's Committee, Phu Yen province has set the task of attracting investment in developing seaport infrastructure, maritime transport services, and logistics in Nam Phu Yen Economic Zone, Hoa Tam Industrial Park, Bai Goc Port by 2030; at the same time, developing a logistics center associated with seaports and airports, making Phu Yen one of the logistics centers of the South Central sub-region.
