
In My Thanh commune, the delegation visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Tran Thi Muoi (whose husband and children are martyrs); and the family of martyr Pham Van Vinh.
In Thu Thua commune, the delegation visited and presented gifts to the family of martyr Huynh Thi To; wounded soldier Dang Ngoc Toan and sick soldier Phan Van Khai.
At the places he visited, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh expressed his deep gratitude for the great sacrifices and contributions of war invalids, martyrs and people with meritorious services to the cause of national liberation, and at the same time kindly inquired about the lives and health of each family.
Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh hopes that families will continue to promote revolutionary traditions, maintain patriotism, and live exemplary lives for the younger generation to follow.
The Deputy Prime Minister suggested that local authorities pay more attention to caring for and supporting people with meritorious services in the area with specific and practical actions, in order to remember and honor their great contributions to the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
