Nghe An: Highlights on January 2

* On the morning of January 2, the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee held its regular meeting for December 2023. Comrade Thai Thanh Quy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation chaired the meeting.

* The Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee agreed to continue implementing Directive No. 17-CT/TU. Accordingly, cadres, party members, civil servants and public employees are required not to use administrative time for personal work; not to come late or leave early; not to drink alcohol or beer before or during administrative hours or lunch breaks on working days and on-duty days.

* 28 villages and hamlets included in the plan to meet new rural standards in 2024 will be implemented in 7 mountainous districts, including: Thanh Chuong 2 villages and hamlets; Tan Ky 4 villages and hamlets; Tuong Duong 7 villages and hamlets; Ky Son 7 villages and hamlets; Quy Chau 3 villages and hamlets; Con Cuong 3 villages and hamlets and Anh Son 2 villages and hamlets.

* President Vo Van Thuong has just signed Decision No. 1582/QD - CTN on awarding the title of "Excellent Teacher" to 1,031 teachers nationwide. In this list, there are 63 teachers working in the Nghe AnEducation sector.

* Vietnamese citizens who want to go to Nam Can border market in Nam Can commune (Ky Son district) must present their citizen identification card or valid personal documents (passport, travel permit, driver's license, etc.) to the Border Guard officer on duty at barrier number 2 to register information, receive a card to enter and exit the market and enter the border gate area.
