By the morning of July 20, the Brigade's search and rescue team had successfully completed their mission and continued to return to prepare for storm prevention and control at the anchorage area.

Fleet 305 and 307 are tying up and preparing to respond to storm number 3 (storm Wipha).

Faced with the rapid and complicated developments of storm No. 3 (Wipha), in compliance with the orders of the Commander of Naval Region 1, Brigade 170 organized education and disseminated tasks to officers and soldiers; regularly monitored and grasped the developments of the storm; strictly maintained the regime and 100% of the military on duty; urgently deployed plans, forces, means, and provided sufficient supplies and equipment to agencies and units to do a good job of storm prevention and control in two directions:

Towards the shore, quickly focus on directing the tying and reinforcement of works, warehouses, barracks, and pruning of tree branches; mobilize 120 officers and soldiers to divide into mobile teams to prevent natural disasters and search and rescue in the stationed area; prepare 1 command vehicle, 2 military vans, 2 trucks, and 1 ambulance ready to move to perform tasks.

Seaward direction, organize and direct 15 ships and 2 boats to move to the anchorage area to avoid storms to ensure safety, tie up and reinforce firmly at the anchorage location; do a good job of preparing to move when situations arise and carry out search and rescue missions.
