Early in the morning, many parents were present at Nguyen Van Dao Hall ( Hanoi National University) to prepare for a special ceremony. Today, relatives of the graduates did not have to wait or watch their children receive their diplomas from the stands, but stood shoulder to shoulder with the new doctors, masters and bachelors to honor and receive gratitude right on stage.

Le Thi Hong Anh, a new graduate of the first course of Brand Management, School of Interdisciplinary Sciences and Arts, could not hide her excitement and emotion when her mother accompanied her at the graduation ceremony.

"I am extremely proud to be part of the first graduating class of Brand Management students and even more moved because my mother was with me on stage to receive my diploma on this special occasion," Hong Anh confided.

Looking back on her journey to university, Le Thi Hong Anh said that during her high school days, she had not yet determined her career and future direction. However, Hong Anh knew that she had an advantage in diplomacy and enjoyed working in event organization.

"From my interests and skills, I learned more about suitable majors. Finally, I chose the school's Brand Management major with the hope of working in the media and branding industry in the future," Hong Anh told reporters while anxiously waiting to be called on stage.

It is known that Hong Anh is currently in charge of internal communications at a fashion company.

Valedictorian of Heritage Resources Management received his diploma from Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Hieu.

As for Ho Ngoc Tram, a new graduate of the first course of Heritage Resource Management, 4 years of dedicated research have helped her gain many valuable lessons and experiences. In this course, Ngoc Tram was the valedictorian of the Heritage Resource Management bachelor's degree.

"I came to heritage studies with a love of History. The more I research, the more I love this field. I realize that heritage studies is not an old field of study, but is constantly changing in the flow of society. In order for heritage to 'live' in the contemporary space, there needs to be an appropriate management strategy. Besides research, we should combine with communication activities to preserve traditional values, bringing heritage closer to the public," Ngoc Tram said.

The Closing and Graduation Ceremony of the School of Interdisciplinary Sciences and Arts (Vietnam National University, Hanoi) attracted many friends and relatives of the new graduates.

The program was designed as an emotional journey: from the flag-raising ceremony symbolizing the school, special performances, to the recognition of outstanding students. In particular, the moment when the new PhDs, Masters and Bachelors put on the ceremonial gowns designed by the school's lecturers and students, holding hands with their loved ones on stage left many emotions.

Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Hieu, Principal of the School of Interdisciplinary Sciences and Arts (Vietnam National University, Hanoi) shared: We are together present at this historic moment - the first graduation ceremony of all three levels of the school. This is not only an important milestone for each person, but also a source of common pride, marking the birth of a pioneering generation of bachelors - those who have written with the school the first page of the journey of creating identity.

At the end of the 2024–2025 academic year, the unit recorded 92% of students in the Brand Management and Heritage Resource Management majors graduating on time. The majority of them have found jobs or continued their studies in graduate programs.

The School of Interdisciplinary Sciences and Arts was established on the foundation of the Graduate School (established in 2002) and the School of Interdisciplinary Sciences (established in 2017) of Vietnam National University, Hanoi. With the slogan "creating the future with interdisciplinary knowledge", the School of Interdisciplinary Sciences and Arts is currently developing and training many majors to stay ahead of the trend of the times.
