World rubber price
At the end of this morning's trading session, the price of TSR20 rubber on the SGX - Singapore exchange increased again in delivery periods. Specifically, the July 2025 contract increased by 2 cents/kg, to 162 cents/kg; August 2025 increased by 2.10 cents/kg, to 160.80 cents/kg.
In Thailand, rubber futures for June delivery increased by 0.2% (0.11 Baht) to 73.44 Baht/kg.
On the OSE - Japan, the price of rubber futures for June decreased by 0.3% (1 Yen) to 302.5 Yen/kg.
On the SHFE Exchange - China, rubber price decreased 0.2% (25 Yuan) to 13,490 Yuan/ton.
The southwest monsoon continues to dominate Thailand – a top rubber producing country – bringing thunderstorms and localized heavy rains that have affected raw material output.
Meanwhile, production in Yunnan Province, Southwest China, has been temporarily disrupted due to heavy rains, but is expected to return to normal in June.
However, natural rubber producing regions in Japan and Vietnam have begun their seasonal harvests, improving the output outlook for June, with forecasts suggesting output could meet or exceed expectations.
Meanwhile, the demand outlook remains clouded by uncertainties in global trade and weak demand from China.
In a related development, Chinese rubber additives maker Shandong Cabot Chemical has just announced the launch of its first overseas manufacturing project, in Cambodia.
In a statement on May 21, the company said it had officially registered its manufacturing facility in Cambodia with local authorities.
The project, located in Snoul District, Kratie Province, is currently in the equipment installation and testing phase. According to the company, some products have already started production.
Established in March 2017, Shandong Cabot Chemical is headquartered in Shanxian Chemical Industrial Park, Shandong Province, specializing in the production of rubber additives with “in-house developed advanced” technology.
The company's main products include rubber release agent, rubber processing aid, tire vulcanization release agent, vulcanization coating, and other functional rubber additives.
The project in Cambodia is expected to enhance the company’s global footprint and international competitiveness. Shandong Cabot Chemical said the move marks a “new chapter” in its overseas development.
Domestic rubber price
Domestically, businesses have kept rubber prices stable. Specifically, the purchase price of latex at Binh Long Rubber Company is at 386 - 396 VND/TSC/kg; mixed latex with 60% DRC is priced at 14,000 VND/kg.
Grade 1 mixed latex is at 409 VND/DRC/kg; grade 2 mixed latex is at 359 VND/DRC/kg.
Phu Rieng Rubber Company purchases mixed latex at 400 VND/DRC; liquid latex at 435 VND/TSC.
Mang Yang Rubber Company purchases latex at a price ranging from 397 to 401 VND/kg, depending on the type. Accordingly, grade 1 latex is at 401 VND/kg/kg; grade 2 latex is at 397 VND/kg/kg.
Ba Ria Rubber Company, the price of level 1 latex rubber is 452 VND/ TSC degree/kg applied to TSC degree from 30 and above; level 2 is 447 VND/ TSC degree/kg applied to TSC degree from 25 to under 30; level 3 is 442 VND/ TSC degree/kg, applied to TSC degree from 20 to under 25.
Cup latex, coagulated latex with DRC ≥ 50% at 18,000 VND/kg; cup latex, coagulated latex with DRC from 45-50% at 16,700 VND/kg; coagulated latex with DRC from 35-45% at 13,500 VND/kg./.
