1. The Provincial Women's Union identifies: Digital transformation as a key task, the "key" to improving the quality of Union activities and promoting the role of women in the development of the homeland. The Provincial Women's Union also believes that implementing the "Digital Education for All" movement is not just a temporary task, but an inevitable requirement of the times.
The provincial Women's Union at all levels needs to clearly identify this as a consistent content in the work of the Union. Women need to access technology safely, proactively and effectively. From there, enhance their position, economic power and digital capacity, gradually affirming their role in socio -economic development. The Women's Union must be a bridge, a companion, not leaving any member or woman behind in the digital transformation journey.
Since its implementation, the "Digital Education for All" movement has been spreading strongly from the province to the grassroots. Specifically, the Women's Union of Tan Thuan Binh commune sets the goal of having monthly activities and content to promote the "Digital Education for All" movement and incorporate the movement's content into regular branch and group activities; at the same time, organizing training and capacity building for members and women participating in the digital society, digital economy, and digital government . The "Popular Education" team propagates in neighborhood 2, Dao Thanh ward. |
2. Currently, the movement "Digital Education for the People" has been spreading strongly in Dao Thanh ward. In particular, the youth, specifically the Youth Union officials, members, and youth of the ward are promoting their role in spreading the movement "Digital Education for the People" to local people.
The "Digital Education for All" movement for the 2025 - 2027 period was deployed nationwide by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union from February 2025 to implement Resolution 57 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation.
Thereby, helping all classes of people, from youth, workers, farmers to the elderly, access technology and adapt to the digital transformation process, improve labor productivity, create job opportunities, and contribute to building digital government, digital economy, and digital society.
In Dao Thanh ward, the movement "Digital Education for the People" was deployed focusing on "teaching digital skills, learning digital technology" and essential knowledge so as not to be left behind in the era of comprehensive digital transformation. Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Hieu, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward, Secretary of the Youth Union of Dao Thanh ward said that many people, especially the elderly, traders, and ordinary workers, are not proficient in using smartphones and cannot access online public services. That is the motivation for the Youth Union of Dao Thanh ward to launch the movement "Digital Education for the People".
With the determination of "leaving no one behind", the Youth Union of Dao Thanh Ward coordinated with the Ward Police, the Green March Campaign Team of students from the People's Police University to focus on instructing students and people about the importance of using VNeID electronic identification.
At the same time, detailed instructions on how to submit application procedures on the Ministry of Public Security's Public Service Portal and the National Public Service Portal are provided. In addition, practical knowledge and skills are shared to identify and prevent fraudulent behavior on social networks - problems that are easily encountered in today's digital environment.
The main participants in the skills classes of the “Popular Digital Education” movement are the elderly, small traders, workers, and freelancers. They did not hide their confusion in the first few sessions. However, the closeness and dedication of the teachers created a friendly learning atmosphere, erasing all complexes. “At first, many people were hesitant because they thought they were too old to learn much.
But when union members, youth, and police enthusiastically guided people to access convenient services on smartphones, the VNeID application, and how to submit documents online on the National Public Service Portal, people gradually became more confident," said comrade Nguyen Ngoc Hieu.
According to statistics from the Youth Union of Dao Thanh Ward, in just the first 15 days of July 2025, more than 400 people in the ward were instructed in digital skills, the rate of people using online public services in the ward increased by more than 30%.
Many people have also proactively asked the union members for guidance and support when carrying out administrative procedures. Not only providing skills, the "Digital Literacy for All" movement implemented in Dao Thanh ward also contributes to connecting generations in the family, increasing community spirit in the residential area.
Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Hieu said: “The beauty of the “Digital Literacy for All” movement is to popularize information technology and digital technology to all people, regardless of age or level. So that all people are equipped with tools to integrate, rise up and protect themselves in the digital world. Now, most elderly people can use social networks to connect with their children and grandchildren, read news, etc.
They no longer see technology as something strange. That is a positive signal for a lifelong learning society. We do not stop at propaganda, but are aiming to build fixed "digital access points" in each neighborhood. There, people can come at any time to receive technological support. The most important thing is to maintain the "Digital Education for All" movement with the spirit of volunteerism, solidarity, and for the community."
The journey of bringing “digital knowledge” to the people of Dao Thanh ward youth is quiet, persistent and full of humanity. With the enthusiasm, dynamism and dedication of the youth, they have been joining hands to spread the movement “Digital Education for All” so that no one is left behind in the digital age.
