Therefore, authorities are making every effort to complete the domestic tax collection estimate.

11/17 main revenue items achieved and exceeded

Domestic tax collection in the first 6 months of 2025 recorded many positive changes. The whole province collected 13,379 billion VND (Binh Dinh 9,794 billion VND, old Gia Lai 3,585 billion VND), reaching 58.7% of the estimate, up 42.3% over the same period in 2024. 11/17 main revenue items reached and exceeded 50% of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council. However, comparing the collection results with the total domestic tax estimate for 2025 (22,775 billion VND), the amount of revenue that needs to be implemented in the coming time is up to 9,396 billion VND. This pressure is even more increased when the province also sets a target of collecting 5% more than the estimate to create more resources for investment in socio -economic development. Many major revenues such as revenues from central state-owned enterprises, environmental protection tax, sales of state-owned houses, land and water surface rental fees, etc. are still low. Furthermore, the tax sector is undergoing many changes in terms of organization, apparatus and management area.

Along with that, it is necessary to urge investors to pay land rent as announced; regularly monitor and urge agencies and units assigned by the Provincial People's Committee to collect land use fees and water surface rental fees in 2025.

Mr. Tran Cang - Director of the Department of Finance - said: "In addition to the above activities, the Department of Finance also actively guides agencies, units and localities to quickly remove arising obstacles to quickly implement projects, both creating revenue for the budget and nurturing revenue sources. At the same time, complete documents and procedures for investment projects using land to soon organize bidding, auctions and collect land use fees in accordance with regulations, supplementing the budget".

Maximize revenue

Demonstrating high determination in budget collection, the provincial Tax Department has promoted the IT application ecosystem to review all revenue sources and taxes, and calculate the potential for arising in all fields. Monthly and quarterly tax management and collection scenarios have been developed and assigned to 9 specialized departments and 11 grassroots tax teams in charge of 135 communes and wards. The entire sector takes taxpayers as the center, as a fulcrum for taxpayers to overcome difficulties and voluntarily fulfill their tax obligations. In addition, the provincial Tax Department has proactively brought tax support policies into practice, ensuring maximum benefits for taxpayers.

All tax officials and civil servants are working with the highest sense of responsibility, striving to complete the 2025 budget estimate.

Not standing aside, the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board and the Provincial Land Fund Development Center are also actively urging enterprises to pay land use fees and land rent; at the same time, organizing auctions of land funds managed by the units.
