The delegation of Hung Yen province offered incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh and heroic martyrs in Son La province.

As part of a series of activities to celebrate the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), on the afternoon of July 19, a delegation of Hung Yen province led by comrade Nguyen Le Huy, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, offered incense at Uncle Ho's Temple at Tay Bac Square and the Memorial House for Heroes and Martyrs of Son La Prison; visited the Son La Prison National Special Relic Site. Joining the delegation were comrade Nguyen Hung Nam, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of a number of departments, branches and sectors of the province.

Comrade Nguyen Le Huy, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, offered incense at Uncle Ho's Temple at Tay Bac Square.

At the Uncle Ho Temple in the Northwest Square, in a solemn atmosphere, the comrades in the delegation expressed their respect and infinite gratitude for the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh - the genius leader of our Party and people, an outstanding activist of the international communist and workers' movement. He devoted and sacrificed his whole life to the cause of national liberation, class liberation, and the struggle for peace , national independence and people's happiness.

Delegates offered incense at the Memorial House for heroic martyrs of Son La Prison.

At Son La Prison, the delegates respectfully offered incense and commemorated comrade To Hieu, a staunch communist, an excellent son of Hung Yen and the heroic martyrs - those who fell for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, and the happiness of the people. In front of the spirit of comrade To Hieu and the heroic martyrs, the delegates vowed to promote the spirit of solidarity, strive to build the homeland and the country to develop more and more; well implement the work of "Repaying gratitude", the Party and State's policies towards war invalids, sick soldiers, families of martyrs, people with meritorious services to the revolution, continuing the tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source" of the nation.
