Entrance score to Hanoi University of Science and Technology is from 18 to 24 points.

Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hien, Deputy Head of Admissions and Communications Department, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, said that for the admission method based on high school graduation exam results, the floor score applied is 18 points for most training programs.

The Medical Science and Technology program requires a minimum of 19 points, Pharmacy 20 points, and Semiconductor Technology 24 points. Dual degree programs and the Aviation Engineering program do not use the high school graduation exam results for admission.

For the remaining three methods, Hanoi University of Science and Technology uses its own scale (100-point scale) to evaluate candidates. The applied floor score ranges from 50 to 70 points, depending on the training program.

“The threshold to ensure input quality for health programs is the expected score, which can be adjusted according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training ,” Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hien noted and said that the school will continue to accept applications for the third round of admission for all three admission methods until July 21, 2025.

With this admission round, candidates will be considered fairly as in rounds 1 and 2. This is a favorable opportunity for those who have the ability and passion for science and technology but have not achieved the desired results in the high school graduation exam.

Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hien noted that for candidates applying for admission to Hanoi University of Science and Technology according to the following methods: admission based on the results of the capacity assessment exam organized by the University; admission based on high school academic results combined with interviews; direct admission, the virtual screening on the Ministry of Education and Training's System will be based on the scores of the admission method that the candidate participated in at the University after converting to a 30-point scale.
