Phu Xuan Ward Party Committee successfully organized the 1st Congress

HNN.VN - On July 19, the Party Committee of Phu Xuan Ward (Hue City) held its first Congress for the 2025-2030 term with the participation of 95 party members. This is an important event, taking place more than two weeks after the ward's new organizational structure officially came into operation under the two-level government model after merging administrative units.

The Party Committee and the People's Committee of the ward determined to build affiliated Party cells that are clean and strong in all aspects; successfully implement the Resolution of the Phu Xuan Ward Party Congress, contributing to the comprehensive development of the locality in the fields of economy - society, national defense - security.

The congress took place in the context of the ward's political system officially operating from July 1, 2025 under the new policy. This is both an opportunity and a challenge requiring high solidarity and unity within the entire Party to lead the government apparatus and specialized agencies to successfully complete assigned tasks.

The orientation for the coming term focuses on improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party Committee, promoting digital transformation, promoting democracy, and mobilizing collective intelligence to create strong changes in advisory work and state management in all fields. The Party Committee also identifies personnel work as key, requiring civil servants to be professionally competent, close to the people, and close to reality.

Some important targets are set such as: 100% of party members complete their tasks well every year, of which 15% complete them excellently; admit 3-5 new party members per year; by 2030, there will be no more poor households (except households that are no longer able to work); 98% of families will meet cultural standards; 95% of residential groups will meet cultural standards; 100% of party cells will complete their tasks well; the military enlistment rate will reach 100%...

At the Congress, the Party Executive Committee of Phu Xuan Ward People's Committee was appointed, consisting of 9 comrades. The Standing Committee has 3 comrades, comrade Nguyen Viet Bang - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Ward People's Committee holds the position of Party Secretary, Chairman of the Ward People's Committee; Deputy Secretary is comrade Nguyen Ho Cong - Member of the Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Ward People's Committee.
