In particular, the Nguyen Dynasty's documents (from Gia Long to Bao Dai) issued directly related to the issue of exploitation, management, establishment and enforcement of sovereignty over the two archipelagos of Hoang Sa and Truong Sa of Vietnam.

Activities within the framework of the Exhibition provided a lot of historical evidence and legal basis on Vietnam's sovereignty over seas and islands and the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws on sustainable development of the marine economy towards the goal of "Vietnam will become a strong and rich country from the sea, with sustainable development, prosperity and well-being".

On this occasion, students also participated in the “I love Vietnam’s Sea and Islands” Contest. More than 1,500 paintings by students expressed their love and knowledge of the sea and islands through lines and colors, contributing to spreading the love of the sea and islands and this exhibition.
