Da Nang: The second cooperative product fair is about to take place

DNVN - From June 19 to 21, at APEC Park (Bach Dang Street, Binh Hien Ward, Hai Chau District), the 2nd Cooperative Product Fair - Da Nang 2024 will take place, hosted by the Da Nang City Cooperative Alliance.

The fair has 42 booths, displaying more than 500 cooperative products, representing more than 5,000 cooperative members of the Cooperative Alliance of 18 provinces and cities across the country, including: Son La, Phu Tho, Yen Bai , Bac Ninh, Bac Giang, Thai Nguyen, Hanoi, Thanh Hoa, Quang Binh, Thua Thien Hue, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, An Giang and Da Nang City.

The first cooperative product fair organized by the Da Nang City Cooperative Alliance in June 2023 attracted much attention from people and tourists.

According to Mr. Pham Cong Chinh - Chairman of the Da Nang City Cooperative Union, the organization of the 2nd Cooperative Product Fair - Da Nang 2024 aims to provide transparent information on the origin of products and safe food consumption. At the same time, it creates conditions for the collective economic sector and cooperatives to display, introduce, promote brands and consume products.

This is also an opportunity to meet, exchange, learn, build cooperative relationships, link in production, business, expand markets, stimulate consumption demand, promote trading activities of cooperatives in Da Nang city with cooperatives of provinces and cities across the country.

Thereby, gradually forming supply chains, consuming collective economic products, cooperatives; serving as a basis for research, orientation for developing new products, meeting diverse consumption needs of people, tourists and improving the competitiveness of collective economy, cooperatives; creating conditions for cooperatives to learn from each other's experiences in building the organization and operation of new cooperative models according to the Law on Cooperatives 2023.

Mr. Pham Cong Chinh also said that the market opens to welcome visitors from 8am to 10pm every day, from June 19 to 21. Along with the diversity and abundance of displayed and introduced items, the market is organized in a completely open space to attract people and tourists to visit, shop for regional specialties, OCOP products and experience activities during the market.

“This will be an opportunity for people and tourists to meet, connect, interact, and discuss directly with cooperatives to learn more about the origin of products, production processes, and product quality standards certification of the items displayed and introduced at this fair,” Mr. Pham Cong Chinh emphasized.
